Michael David McChesney, a 40-year-old resident of Cupertino, California, was last seen on January 31, 2021. Upset about his family moving out of their home, he left his residence around 5:00 p.m. that day. His mother reported him missing at midnight when he failed to return. The next day, on February 1, patrol officers encountered McChesney twice on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
