On the evening of October 9, 1969, Jennifer Eileen Guyn, a vibrant 23-year-old woman, departed from the First Christian Church on North Country Club Drive in Mesa, Arizona. As the choir leader, she had just finished practice and was heading home to her apartment in Phoenix, where she had plans to have dinner with her roommate.
