Alissa Marie Turney was a 17-year-old girl living in Phoenix, Arizona, when she disappeared on May 17, 2001, the final day of her junior year at Paradise Valley High School. Her last independently corroborated sighting came at school, where she briefly spoke with her boyfriend and told him that her stepfather, Michael Turney, was taking her out early.
