In the autumn of 1971, nine-year-old Anthony Murrill was a familiar and well-liked presence in his Atlanta, Georgia community. The youngest of four siblings, he lived with his mother, stepfather, and brothers in the Harris Homes, a public housing complex on Sells Avenue.
