In the spring of 1976, a 19-year-old man named Stephen Lee Murphy, also known as Steve, vanished from Tulsa, Oklahoma. On May 2nd of that year, he spoke to his uncle, offering words of reassurance before he walked away, never to be heard from again. He told his uncle not to worry about him and that he would be okay.
