On a summer day in June 1988, eight-year-old Gloria Kim Smith was on vacation with her family in Oak Island, North Carolina. Originally from Fayetteville, the family was enjoying their time near the Kings Lynn Drive area. Gloria, a young Asian girl with brown hair and brown eyes, was last seen wearing a white tank top and blue shorts.
