In the spring of 2001, a young man named Lavar Quinta Sutton disappeared from the small town of Pikeville, North Carolina. On April 10th, the 22-year-old was seen leaving with another man in a van, a detail that would become a central clue in the mystery of his vanishing. At the time he went missing, Lavar was described as a Black male, standing between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing approximately 175 to 180 pounds.
