Kent Jacobs, a 41-year-old man from Hope Mills, North Carolina, was last seen on March 10, 2002. Jacobs, who had Down syndrome and functioned at the mental level of a nine-year-old, disappeared after leaving his mother’s home for one of his routine walks through his old neighborhood near McDonald Road and Interstate 95.
