In the quiet community of Hope Mills, North Carolina, 42-year-old Kent Jacobs, a man with a kind and trusting nature, vanished on March 10, 2002. A member of the Lumbee Tribe, Kent was developmentally disabled with the mental capacity of a nine-year-old and required medication for anxiety.
