In the late winter of 2008, a sense of unease settled over a community in Fayetteville, North Carolina, with the disappearance of William James Simon. A 60-year-old man known for his kindness and dependability, he was last seen on March 19, 2008. Simon, a driver for L&M Taxi Service, was a familiar face to many in the area.
