Walter Vernon McCraw, a 51-year-old man, was last seen on July 11, 2018, in Shelby, North Carolina. His disappearance occurred under unusual circumstances after his family last dropped him off at a local Waffle House on East Dixon Boulevard. Shortly after, an officer found him sleeping in the grass near a McDonald’s down the street. Despite this brief sighting, McCraw has not been heard from since that time.
