Sterling Emanuel Jones, 67, went missing on October 25, 2021. He was last seen in Scooba, Mississippi, at a Chevron gas station while traveling with another man in his 2011 Nissan Infiniti QX50 SUV, which had a personalized license plate reading "SIRNARD." Jones had left his home in Center Point, Alabama, earlier that day, planning to visit the Golden Moon Casino in Philadelphia, Mississippi. He was carrying a large sum of money at the time.
The man he was traveling with was reported to be a violent individual, and he returned to Birmingham, Alabama, without Jones. Jones’ vehicle was later recovered, but there has been no trace of him since. Authorities now suspect foul play and believe Jones may have been murdered, though no charges have been filed. Investigators think that others, knowingly or unknowingly, may have assisted in the crime. His body has not been located, and the search continues, with law enforcement suspecting that his remains may be somewhere between Birmingham, Alabama, and Dekalb, Mississippi.Last Seen: Oct 25, 2021
