Decemius Strong, a 27-year-old man from Indianola, Mississippi, has been missing since the morning of January 22, 2022. He was last seen leaving his home around 7:05 a.m. Later that morning, hunters reportedly spotted him about two miles away from his residence, wandering without any clothing. His family noticed his absence around 9:30 to 10:00 a.m., prompting them to report his disappearance. Strong was wearing a yellow skull cap, orange hoodie, black jacket, blue jeans, and black Timberland boots when he was last seen by his family before his disappearance.

Strong's family has expressed concern about his mental health, indicating that he may have had a condition that could impair his judgment, which potentially contributed to his unusual behavior that day. Authorities quickly issued a Silver Alert, typically used for vulnerable individuals, and a search operation began shortly after his disappearance. However, despite several days of searching by local law enforcement and volunteers, the search was called off on January 29, 2022, without any significant leads or evidence of his whereabouts.

The investigation into Strong's disappearance remains ongoing, with the Sunflower County Sheriff's Office and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation involved. Despite efforts from law enforcement and his family, there have been no substantial developments, and his whereabouts remain unknown. Family and friends continue to appeal to the public for any information that might assist in finding him.
