Abraham Jonathan Ramirez, a 21-year-old man from Jackson, Mississippi, was last seen on September 5, 2009. On the night of his disappearance, he went out with friends to El Jardin, a nightclub on Gallatin Street in Jackson. There, he encountered his girlfriend, and the two had an argument around 3:30 a.m. Following the argument, Abraham walked away and was never seen again.
His new pickup truck was later found wrecked on the side of the highway near the State Street exit, approximately a mile from the nightclub. At the time of his disappearance, Ramirez had a minor warrant out for his arrest, but authorities do not believe he was running from the law. He had been living in Mississippi since 2007, working in construction, and had an infant son who was born just months before he went missing. His girlfriend and child moved to Texas shortly after, and their whereabouts remain unknown.
