In May of 2018, Christopher Bryan Mitchell, a 32-year-old man known to his friends and family as Bryan, was living in Brandon, Mississippi, with his husband, Ben. Bryan was a popular hairstylist at the Detangled Salon, known for making his clients laugh and smile. On May 18, he left his home to go stay with a friend who resided at the King Edward Hotel in downtown Jackson, Mississippi.
