Jason James Lee Sheffield, a 31-year-old man from Connelly Springs, North Carolina, was last seen by his family on August 28, 2022, on South Fork Avenue in Hickory. His family reported him missing in late October 2022 after failing to hear from him for several weeks. Investigators from the Burke County Sheriff's Office began searching his residence and surrounding areas, as well as interviewing individuals associated with Sheffield, but no significant leads emerged.
