In the early summer of 2025, concern grew for 37-year-old Alicia Rogers, a resident of Athens, Tennessee. She was reportedly last seen on the evening of June 5, 2025, at a laundromat near the Save A Lot in town. At the time of her disappearance, Alicia was wearing a green button-up shirt and blue jeans. Her hair, which is blonde, was distinguished by blue streaks. She was known to be driving her 2018 white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, a vehicle made distinctive by a ladder rack on the roof and numerous stickers on the back windows. The last known contact anyone had with her was a text message she sent in the very early hours of June 5th. After that message, all communication ceased, and her whereabouts became unknown.
Further investigation into her last known movements revealed that Alicia had been staying at a local Days Inn and had checked out of the hotel on the same day she was last seen. Alicia is a person with notable tattoos, including a three-quarter sleeve on her right arm and the phrase 'through every storm' tattooed on her left arm. It was also believed that she may have been accompanied by her two pit bulls, who could be wary of strangers. The Athens Police Department was handling the investigation, and details of her case were circulated in the hope of generating leads from the public who might have seen her or her noticeable truck.
The period following her disappearance was filled with uncertainty for those who knew her. The lack of contact and the sudden nature of her disappearance were sources of significant worry. After a period of investigation, the active search for Alicia concluded. The circumstances surrounding the resolution of her case have not been detailed publicly, but it is understood that this is no longer an active missing persons investigation as Alicia was located and is alive. The case began with a concerning and abrupt lack of communication from a woman last seen going about a routine errand and concluded with her being found.
