Jeffrey Anderson, a 51-year-old man from Denton, Texas, was last seen on November 27, 2022, after renting a boat from the Galveston Yacht Marina. Anderson, who had intended to visit the wreck of the SS Selma, departed at 2:30 p.m. with plans to return before sunset. However, he never made it back. When Anderson failed to return, the marina reported him missing at around 7 p.m. that evening.
