Clotilde “Claudette” Tremblay, 33, went missing from Fall River, Massachusetts, in 1988 under suspicious circumstances. At the time of her disappearance, she was living with her husband, Robert Tremblay, and their 8-year-old daughter on Pearce Street. Clotilde, originally from the Azores in Portugal, worked as a machine operator at the F&F Braid Company, located close to her home.
Her husband, Robert, claimed that Clotilde had left him for another man.
However, he never reported her disappearance to the police. This raised suspicions among her family and neighbors, who did not believe she would abandon her young daughter, with whom she was very close. Despite extensive efforts, no evidence has surfaced to explain her sudden disappearance, and the case remains unsolved. The authorities have classified her disappearance as suspicious and continue to seek new information to solve the mystery.
