Lisa Therisa Hazard, a 28-year-old woman from Fall River, Massachusetts, was last seen on March 3, 2019. She left her home in New Bedford that morning and told the father of her young son that she planned to go to Fall River to buy drugs before checking into rehab. Hazard was picked up by an unknown individual in New Bedford, and there has been no trace of her since. Despite extensive efforts, it's unclear whether she ever reached Fall River or left New Bedford.
Hazard, who had struggled with addiction, was motivated to get clean following the overdose death of her older sister. Despite her personal struggles, she remained close to her family and cared deeply for her son. Her family did not immediately report her missing, as she had previously lost contact while attending rehab. At the time of her disappearance, Hazard was described as being 5'9", weighing 110 pounds, and wearing black sweatpants and brown boots. She had a tattoo of the Aries zodiac sign on her right wrist.
Her case remains unsolved, and authorities continue to investigate. Several months after her disappearance, Hazard's son and his father were tragically found dead in a murder-suicide. The father, George Scott III, was considered a person of interest in Hazard's case. Hazard's family continues to seek justice and answers regarding her fate.
