Summary based on 1 source
In the autumn of 2006, a young woman named Kate Carol Sieben, at the age of 21, vanished from her life in Edmonton, Alberta. On the evening of Friday, November 3, 2006, she was last seen leaving her home on foot following a disagreement with her common-law husband. It was not the first time the subject of her leaving had come up; for a few months, she had spoken of going away and had, on previous occasions, left their shared residence. This time, however, would be different. When days turned into more than a week with no word from Kate, her concerned parents officially reported her missing to the authorities on November 14, 2006.

At the time of her disappearance, Kate was described as a young woman with brown hair and brown eyes. She stood at approximately five feet seven inches tall and weighed around 165 pounds. On that last evening she was seen, she was wearing a white jacket and carrying a distinctive, oversized pink purse. The initial hope that she may have simply left on her own accord and would soon return began to fade as the silence from her end grew longer. The investigation into her whereabouts commenced, but the trail seemed to have gone cold almost as soon as it began.

Over the years, efforts to find Kate have been extensive, yet ultimately fruitless. Authorities have conducted searches, including sweeps of the river, in the hope of finding any clue that might lead to her. Despite these efforts, she has not been seen or heard from since that November night. Few details have emerged to shed light on what might have happened to her after she walked away from her home. The case of Kate Carol Sieben remains an open and unresolved missing person investigation. The narrative of her disappearance is one of abrupt and painful ambiguity, leaving her family and community with unanswered questions and the enduring ache of her absence.

Last Seen: Nov 3, 2006
