On a summer day in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, 41-year-old Carol Jean Shelleau was seen for the last time by her children. It was July 29, 1988, when she left her home, getting on the back of her estranged husband's motorcycle. At the time of her disappearance, Carol was described as being 5'0' tall and weighing approximately 119 pounds, with short, curly black hair and brown eyes.
