In the winter of 1970, a sense of quiet settled over the community of East St. Paul, Manitoba, a quiet that would soon be pierced by the unsettling disappearance of a local woman. Margaret Annie Ethel Schwabe, a 55-year-old Caucasian woman, was at her home on December 19th of that year.
