On May 7 2024, Lorraine Popowich was reported missing after going missing while searching for cattle on her property located northeast of Athabasca County (Deep Creek), Alberta. Despite extensive efforts, she could not be located. Multiple searches were conducted of the surrounding area over the next several months, but no evidence of Lorraine was found.
