In the late summer of 1998, a 26-year-old woman named Lara Danielle Brown was living her life in Edmonton, Alberta. On August 29th of that year, she was seen for what is believed to be the last time. Accounts differ on who saw her last, with some reports indicating it was her common-law partner and others mentioning a friend.
