Lawrence George Bennett, known as Larry, was a 25-year-old man when he disappeared on September 25, 1981, after leaving Princess Harbour, Manitoba, on the eastern side of Lake Winnipeg. According to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police's Canada's Missing database, Bennett set out at approximately 7:30 p.m. in his boat, intending to travel from Princess Harbour to Matheson Island.
