In the heart of winter, a Chicago family was plunged into a state of desperate uncertainty with the disappearance of 16-year-old Leiyla Underwood. The young girl was last seen on the West Side of the city, in the Austin neighborhood near the 4800 block of West Cortez Street. At the time she went missing, she was wearing a black jacket and black Crocs.
