Ronald Jacobs Sr., a 68-year-old veteran, has been missing from Port Arthur, Texas, since November 1, 2016. His daughter reported him missing on November 9, 2016, after he uncharacteristically missed a scheduled doctor's appointment at the VA in Houston. Jacobs was last seen in the 300 block of Gulfway Drive, where he resided with one of his sons.
At the time of his disappearance, Jacobs was dependent on a cane to walk due to a previous stroke.
Worryingly, his cane and all of his other personal belongings were found left behind at his home. Authorities have stated that Jacobs did not have any cognitive impairments and required assistance to go anywhere.
Foul play is suspected in connection with his disappearance. The case remains an unsolved cold case, and the Port Arthur Police Department has periodically sought public assistance for any information regarding his whereabouts.
