On the evening of October 23, 2024, 18-year-old Pernell Albert Dionne III was last seen leaving his residence in the small town of Elmo, Montana. He departed between 10:00 and 11:00 p.m. with an individual he knew, telling his mother and two younger sisters, "I'll be right back," as he went for what was described as an evening walk. He has not been seen or heard from since that night.
Dionne left all of his personal belongings and money behind, taking only the clothes he was wearing. His family, who have a home site in nearby Polson, Montana, suspect foul play in his disappearance. The family has indicated that prior to his disappearance, a neighbor had accused Dionne of stealing his clothes. Additionally, one of his sisters mentioned that he had been chased down the street by someone wielding a baseball bat at some point before he went missing.
Despite a missing persons report being filed, the family has expressed that there has been a lack of law enforcement investigation into his case. His disappearance remains unsolved, and his family continues to seek answers.
