Robert Joseph Willenborg, a 59-year-old man from Buena Vista, Colorado, was last seen on June 12, 2016, in the vicinity of Glasgow, Montana. On the day of his disappearance, a friend had reportedly dropped him off in the Park Grove area. Concerns for his welfare grew when he could not be contacted or located.
The day after he was reported missing, authorities made a significant discovery. Willenborg's white pickup truck was found submerged in the Missouri River near Boy Scout Park in Valley County. An extensive search of the river and surrounding areas was launched by law enforcement, but these efforts did not lead to the recovery of Mr. Willenborg. Investigators believe he may have been a victim of an accidental drowning, though he remains officially classified as a missing person.

He had gray eyes and gray or partially gray hair, which was mostly bald on top with brown and gray hair on the back and sides of his head. He also had a mustache. A notable physical characteristic was a light complexion on skin usually covered by clothing, with a tanned face, neck, and arms.
