In the late hours of a Saturday, on August 17, 2024, the life of 19-year-old Jack Thomas Poole was tragically cut short in Russellville, Arkansas. A young White/Caucasian man with a promising future, he was a sophomore nursing major at Arkansas Tech University. That evening, at approximately 10:40 p.m., Russellville Police Department officers were called to a residence in the 400 block of Ashwood, an off-campus home, with a report of a person having been shot.
