Simmoni Jamie Berry, a 50-year-old transgender woman, was last seen on September 12, 2004, in Arcadia, Florida, just three days after her birthday. At the time of her disappearance, she lived in the 11700 block of southwest Anne Avenue. Berry was in the midst of a move to Mayo, Florida, having already sold her home in Arcadia, but had postponed her departure due to storms in the area. She has not been seen or heard from since. Her Pekingese dog also vanished at the same time.
