On November 27, 2018, 29-year-old David Guenin Stern disappeared in Washington, D.C. An accountant at Center City Public Charter Schools, Stern's day began as any other. At 4:22 p.m., he sent a text message to his fiancée, Katie Park, informing her that he was leaving work early to see a doctor and would be home later. This was the last communication anyone had with him.
