William Nolan Bass, an 87-year-old resident of Mart, Texas, went missing on October 21, 2000, from Bellmead, Texas. On the day of his disappearance, Bass left his home around 9:00 a.m. to drive to Waco, Texas, intending to have his 1977 tan and brown Chevrolet Caprice inspected and to purchase new vehicle tags. He was last seen on Highway 84 near Loop 340. Despite having a blank check with him to pay for the tags, Bass did not carry additional cash or credit cards and never arrived at his destin ...
