On July 24, 1984, 26-year-old Gregory Vernard Link was last seen in Washington, D.C.. He drove away in his 1982 Ford Escort and was never heard from again. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain unclear, and few details are available in his case.

The day after Link was last seen, his vehicle was discovered parked at the corner of Eastern Avenue and Quarrels Street NE. There was no sign of Link at the scene, and his whereabouts since that time are unknown.
