Tawnya Lynn Lopez, a 48-year-old woman from South Carolina, was last seen on December 27, 2023, in Fremont, California. She had been visiting family in the area when she disappeared near Olive Avenue. Lopez was last seen wearing a blue top and light-colored pants. She is described as a white female with blonde hair and hazel eyes, standing at 5'5" tall and weighing between 127 and 180 pounds. Distinguishing features include several tattoos: an unknown design on her lower back, the words "wife" and "thug" on her wrist, and a fairy on her ankle. It is also noted that she frequently changes her hair length and color with wigs.
The circumstances surrounding Lopez's disappearance indicate she left her family's residence after an argument and has not been seen or heard from since. A few days after she was last seen, her purse containing her personal effects was discovered not far from where she went missing. Notably, she left her cell phone behind. At the time of her disappearance, Lopez had recently graduated from a cosmetology school in South Carolina and may have been seeking employment as an esthetician.
Authorities have stated that Lopez was known to have connections to the Sacramento area from previous years and was involved with American Bulldog organizations. The Fremont Police Department is handling the investigation and has urged anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact them at 510-790-6800. Her case remains unsolved, and few details about the ongoing investigation have been made public.
