On March 13, 2004, 25-year-old Jedediah Jack Cross was last seen off the coast of Santa Barbara, California. Cross, a resident of Boise, Idaho, had embarked on a sailing trip with the destination of Mexico. He had left his home in Boise in March 2004 to begin this journey.
The vessel he was sailing was a 27-foot pocket cruiser named the "Questar II". The boat is described as being white with a single mast and bore the California license number CF9188EM.
The last known location of Jedediah Cross and the Questar II was near one of the islands off of Santa Barbara.
Jedediah Jack Cross was supposed to sail from San Pedro, California, to Mexico, but he never reached his destination. He has not been seen or heard from since March 13, 2004. The Boise County Sheriff's Office in Idaho is the agency investigating his disappearance.
