Hari Krishna Reddy Karasani, a 24-year-old graduate student from India studying in Houston, Texas, was reported missing in Alaska in early January 2026. Karasani had embarked on a solo vacation, flying from Houston to Fairbanks on December 22, 2025. He informed his roommates that he would be gone for about two weeks and planned to return on January 3rd or 4th, 2026.
