In the summer of 2024, a 20-year-old woman named Rozalynne McKinney vanished from Phoenix, Arizona, leaving her family consumed with worry. The last official contact anyone had with her was on August 1, 2024. At the time of her disappearance, Rozalynne was experiencing homelessness. She is described as a white female with blue eyes and blonde hair, which she was known to dye frequently, with the last known color being pink. She has several distinctive tattoos, including a heart on her face, "Anastazia" on her forearm, a yoke of flowers with a heart and dagger on her chest, designs on her thighs, and a smiley face on her buttock. She also has piercings on her lip, brow, nose, and navel. Rozalynne's life in the time leading up to her disappearance was marked by personal challenges. Her family has openly shared their concerns about her struggle with addiction. This was complicated by legal issues, including charges for driving under the influence and failure to appear in court, which resulted in a warrant for her arrest. Her family expressed that while her appearance may have changed due to her difficult circumstances, she is a deeply loved daughter. They emphasized their desire to know she is safe and to offer her love and help, not punishment. Unconfirmed reports suggested she might be in the 27th Avenue area of Phoenix and possibly part of the local homeless community. There was also a tip that she was seen riding a green bicycle in May of 2025. The search for Rozalynne has been a painful journey for her loved ones. While there was a period where she was located and reported as "found safe" on June 23, 2025, she did not maintain communication with her family and was subsequently removed from the official missing persons list after contact with law enforcement. Despite this, her family's search and concern for her well-being have not ceased. Her case is a poignant reminder of the complexities that can surround a missing person's case, particularly when issues like homelessness and addiction are involved. The Phoenix Police Department was the investigating agency for her official missing person case.
