Charles Eppard Missing Person Case

On March 4, 2025, a backcountry skiing trip in the mountains near Girdwood, Alaska, ended in tragedy for 39-year-old Charles Eppard and his two friends. The group, which included Jeremy Leif and David Linder, were on a heli-skiing excursion in the West Fork of the 20-mile river area when they were caught in a massive avalanche.
