Stephen Harden, a 27-year-old Black male from Detroit, Michigan, was discovered deceased on April 17, 2012. The incident occurred on the city's east side, where law enforcement officers responded to reports of a shooting. Harden was found near the intersection of East 7 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue, a busy commercial corridor.
