Here is an updated synopsis based exclusively on publicly available sources, integrating the note that Jasenia Cooke has since been located. The exact details and circumstances remain vague and unspecified in official reporting:
---
Jasenia Niccora Cooke was an 18-year-old African American female who had been listed as missing after last being seen in Daytona Beach, Florida on October 19, 2024.
That evening, she reportedly departed her residence at approximately 7:30 PM in the company of a male individual in a red Lincoln SUV, and was last observed wearing a gray “Friends” T‑shirt and black tights.
Her physical description as recorded in public listings included a height of about 5′ 9″, brown hair, hazel eyes, and an estimated weight between 220 and 230 lbs. She was assigned case number MP132279 in Florida’s missing persons database, which matched her profile in multiple public sources.
Subsequent public listings now indicate that Jasenia has been located, though no further details—including timing, location, or condition—are provided in law enforcement summaries or updates. The record does not elaborate on how her case was resolved, nor whether there were any intervening leads, investigations, or official statements that clarify the circumstances surrounding her recovery.
Because publicly available sources do not include updated narrative or investigative outcomes, additional context—such as her well‑being, whether any charges were involved, or how authorities became aware of her location—is not retrievable from those records. For substantiated or more detailed information, contacting the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office or reviewing official updates would be necessary.Last Seen: Oct 19, 2024
