On a summer day in late July of 1955, 30-year-old Ruby Mae Bosen, her husband Calvin Wayne Bosen, and her brother Clarence Delmer Simons, were enjoying an outing at Moon Lake in Duchesne County, Utah. They were accompanied by another married couple, A.G. and Lucy Smith.
