A summer afternoon on Moon Lake in Duchesne County, Utah, took a tragic turn on July 29, 1955, leading to the disappearance of 30-year-old Calvin Wayne Bosen, his wife Ruby Mae Bosen, and her brother, Clarence Delmer Simons.
