Daniel Alan Birchfield, 30 years old at the time, was last seen on September 20, 1991, in Augusta, Georgia. He left his home on Stoney Brook Drive after a car with three individuals pulled up outside. Birchfield walked out to speak with them and then got into the car, which drove off. He has not been heard from since, leaving behind his wallet in his residence. At the time of his disappearance, Birchfield was caring for his partner's elderly mother, who passed away two weeks later.
