On the evening of May 18, 1993, a 53-year-old man named Byron Lee Davis, also known to some as Joe, was seen walking away from his home in the area of 57th Street and Bales Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. He was dressed in a blue t-shirt, blue slacks, a navy blue cap, and black shoes. This would be the last time he was seen.
