Marina Miquelle Kissinger, a 38-year-old petty officer in the Navy, disappeared on March 14, 1995, from the Treasure Island Naval Base in San Francisco, California. She worked as a first-class Navy mess specialist (cook) and was last seen at her post. On the following day, March 15, she contacted her superior officer, stating that she was leaving the Navy and would not return. After that call, she vanished and has not been heard from since.
