Angela Caroline Hartmann, a 27-year-old woman, was last seen on August 22, 1983, while traveling across Canada. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Angela had been journeying between Ottawa, Thunder Bay, and Calgary during the summer of 1983. She was planning to attend Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, starting in September.
