Burt O'Ryan Dollar, a 20-year-old from Long Beach, California, went missing on July 9, 1995, along with his friend Steven Clark. The two were last seen leaving for a camping trip, possibly headed to Yosemite or Forest Falls, in a white Ford Festiva with Indiana license plates. The car was later found abandoned off Highway 395 near the California-Nevada border, but there was no sign of Burt or Steven at the scene.
