At the time he went missing, he was driving a red 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup truck with a Florida license plate, 610-NYJ, and a Louisiana license plate in the back window. Tillman was wearing a black muscle-style shirt, blue jean shorts, and black Puma slides. He is described as a white male, 5'6' tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has several distinctive tattoos, including the name 'Tillman' on the back of his neck and the names 'Caden' and 'Maya' on his left arm.
For a significant period, the investigation into Tillman's disappearance yielded few leads, leaving his family with unanswered questions and growing concerns. Rumors circulated among family members that he had been beaten to death, but without concrete evidence, the case went cold for years. A breakthrough finally came in late April when a homicide detective with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office revisited the case. The detective discovered an anonymous CrimeStoppers tip that had been submitted in August 2025. On April 20, authorities excavated a portion of the backyard and found a severed human skull and hands. Dental records later confirmed that the remains belonged to Eddie Tillman Jr. The investigation into his death revealed a horrifying series of events, with witnesses coming forward to testify that the suspects had openly discussed and even bragged about the killing.
