Courtney Marcher, a 22-year-old woman originally from Florida, disappeared on April 4, 2004, while surfing at Velzyland on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. She had moved to Hawaii just eight weeks prior and was living with friends near the beach. That morning, she went out surfing with friends around 6:45 a.m. By approximately 8:30 a.m., she informed them she was heading to shore, but she was never seen again.
